- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

"The Bulldogs could also stand to get a bit more creative with how they are with their tight ends. We saw that in a variety of ways on G-Day, as Reddell had a 23-yard run on a jet sweep, while Prothro took nearly all of his snaps out of the slot position."
Getting creative with this much talent in the TE room shouldn't be a problem for the 2026 team. The question that I have is "can this creativity afforded by the talented TE room help eliminate the predictability that tends to show up in the offense from time to time"? This predictability emerges especially on 2nd and 10 (after an incomplete pass) when you really need 7+ yards, and everyone in the stadium knows there's a run play coming. UGA runs the ball as good (if not better) than anyone they face, but the predictability of that play call can limit the success in certain situations. So, then they are likely to have a 3rd and 7 or 8 situation and another very predictable play to hopefully pick up the first down. If CMB can mix in some creativity with these TE's on 1st and 2nd down, they will move the ball down field more consistently and be more effective with the running backs as well.
GO DAWGS!
I want to see us throw a lot more to them. Not a 4 yard pass play that is "safe". We have enough bodies to not have to turn them all into blockers. Use the talent. You said it perfectly!
Has there ever been a better recruiter? Not at Georgia. Now he needs to apply those elite skills to convince Bobo and Kirby (how) to leverage, if not exploit the massive potential/strength of this room. Go Dawgs!
@GoodOlDawg - You hit the nail on the head! If I know what play is coming, I’m pretty sure the opposing team knows. Way too predictable play calling by Bobo often kills drives. Then, of course, there’s the tendency to go conservative when we have a lead. How often have we seen downright brilliant play calling by Bobo make the offense literally unstoppable and resulting in a 10-14 point lead followed by the worse play calling possible? If it’s working, keep doing it! PLEASE!
Great point as the play calling is predictable. If it’s obvious to the fan imagine how obvious it is for the experts . Williams is a beast that no one can cover so hopefully he gets the ball more . Obvious or not he can’t be stopped .
the tight end room can’t be a factor if you don’t use them
