Love seeing this…at times, it feels like college players are more like mercenaries than any semblance of students. To see an excellent player star in the big leagues and still want that degree is very commendable and something that is easy to respect.

Dawgs run rule Missouri today 13 to 3 in 8 innings! Dan Jackson led off the final inning to put it away with another base hit as UGA had 15 total hits, along with two more homers (from Phelps & Branch)!

    Go Dawgs!!

No question Georgia, led by Jackson, brings more lumber to the diamond than any team in the country. Every player in the line-up, about 13 deep, is dangerous and can go yard any time. The challenge for the payoffs, where dominant pitchers pave the way, will be to get more consistent pitching out of our starters. Two or three of them show flashes, but head coach/pitching coach Wes Johnson— the famed "pitcher whisperer"— needs to help that staff find another gear if they are going to advance far in the postseason. They've gotten better, so that's a good trend that hopefully continues. ,Go Dawgs!
