    $$ talks! Only a matter of time before we lose Spell. Really shocked he did not pick Oregon.

    @GtheGreek

    What you say is probably true, but we are not winning another NC signing 3 stars and then pay them big bucks to stay 3 years and "develop" to play against teams loaded with 5 stars at the key positions.

    I was going to say basically the same thing.

    How in the world is there not a story on a site called “Dawgnation” about the baseball team winning its first conference championship in nearly 20 years? As soon as that last strike was thrown a story should have had the final period typed and the story posted.

    I don’t give a hoot in hell about some kid saying he doesn’t want to come to school here. He is not my concern or interest.

    Committed, bullcrap. Just wanting to use us to get more money! Tired of reading about God telling them it's time to move. It's money!

    A story about the baseball team winning the SEC regular season title seems to be needed.

    No fun following this stuff it is nothing more than a bidding war game. Between the betting on sports, NIL, lack of integrity among most of these kids today the game has been destroyed. Our last 2 Nattys came when it was still based upon merit. Texas Tech says it all.

    Time to end verbal commits. Time for a single national signing day. There can be one late signing day for a limited number of stragglers. Have 'em sit out for a year or lose a year if they transfer—they can only transfer after year two. This is a professional sport, now. Run it like one.

    The kid has the right to go wherever he wants, and if Miami is willing to pay him millions, it just shows how eager they are to win a championship. But that doesn’t guarantee they’ll actually win one. How long will a billionaire keep shelling out money with no return on investment? And if it bothers you, keep it to yourself—don’t come on here and tear a kid down, it just makes the fanbase look bad.

    Power 4 football should be acclaimed and paid for by the NFL. I am of limited financial means. Without that billionaire attachment, I feel I am more worthy giving to Scottish Rites and St. Jude. I am also considering more an attachment to one or more nonPower 4 teams where football at the collegiate level is not as blatantly entrenched with greed.
