The game between the Mets and the Nationals ended 16-7 in 12 innings with the Mets winning. The Mets scored 10 runs in the top of the twelfth. That had to be some kind of record.
I saw a National's pitcher making a lazy throw towards home and wondered "what the hell"? The Nationals had brought in third baseman Jorbit Vivas to finish when the game was out of reach. The Mets leading 13-6.
