Arcamone had pivotal 2 run homer in 1st inning to complete 5 run start to this game and completed scoring with bases loaded 2 run single to get the run rule margin! What a game for a primary bench player.

I realize this is a "Dawg Nation" site....however....imo....[#2] Ga Tech deserves a mention here. As a lifelong Georgian....I couldn't be prouder of both of these Teams.

Wow, what a stunning score! I really thought this would be close. Maybe a magical season like the last time we won it all. I am old enough to remember a huge pool party during the World Series back then rooting the Dawgs on!!
I was really shocked at how bad Tech beat us in the regular season and blew it off as maybe we rested our first line pitching. BUT, after seeing how they dismantled a dang good NC team, they look for real. It would be cool to see them play at the world series! GATA Dawgs!!
The fact that they are both Champions of their respective Conference...is amazing enough.
But....add in the fact, that they are both ranked #2 & #3...AND...they are both Offensive powerhouses…....How much better could it be for Georgians? Lol....it's about time, huh?.
Now....the Falcons and Basket-Dawgs need to find their way. The leaders are showing the way.
