Yes, collegiate sports are worse off than a year ago. In fact, it’s getting worse everyday.

"but noted the league is not necessarily to expanding to a 24- or 28-team playoff."_____Sankey

Huh?....What the natural uck with a capital "F" is going on in CFB?

28 TEAMS, now? Hell...why not have a 132 Team playoff?

It can begin at the end of August and end at the beginning of January. And...EVERYBODY has an equal opportunity to make it to the Natty.

Hmmm?....seems like that's what we had, and they went and ucked it up. Lol.…probably for good, the way things are going. Geniuses!

Maybe, they should just shut D1 CFB down for 1 year....get their crap in one sock....and start all over. Employing AI and, consult some of the smartest people in America to create a workable, fair system that would preempt any BIG10 whining. Lol

Go Dawgs....take em one at a time. 4...8....12....16...24....28....lololol....whatever.

Imo....football...is the same as other sports. More games doesn't increase your likelihood of finding "The Best". It camouflages "The Best"...by muddling the picture with mediocrity.

Creating the opportunity for a "Cinderella Champion"....which isn't necessarily "The Best Team". Just the "Luckiest Team". However....that appears to be the goal....cause, it's good TV.

Then....there's always the possibility that the Best Team is also The Luckiest. Lol

Not a fan of the 12 team playoff. Think we should go back to 4 or even 6. Will never happen but oh well.

24, is a horrible idea but will probably happen. Not a Sankey fan because he acted like he was some kind of superstar commissioner with all the Texas non-sense 2 years ago in Austin. He hosed us by not demanding we be in the 4 team playoff in 23. How many times have we gotten jacked by his schedulers in Birmingham and by his referees to feed the Bama machine. He cost the conference college football immortality in 23. He's a loser. Complete fake and weak as crud.

Now he is getting his rear end handed to him and throws Kirby out there to do his messaging on an SEC breakaway.

The SEC should add GT, Clemson, Miami, FSU, North Carolina, NCState, Virginia, VTech, Texas Tech, Baylor, Houston, OSU move to a 4 division conference. Have it's own playoff and tell the B1G to take a flying leap. The money is in the tv markets and who actually watches college football. No one watches out west or in the north east, so screw those guys.

With my new genius format above you get the following tv markets

Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, New Orleans, Atlanta, Miami, Jax, Charlotte, Washington DC, Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga.

Basically, 70 percent of the college football watching audience and with it 70 percent of the money will come with it. Screw the B1G and force them to cave. No one watches football in the north anymore except in Ohio. They can be the Michigan Indiana Ohio national champs and we will crown the real national champions.

One last thing. Fire Sankey, hire Saban and make what I mentioned above happen.
