BA I believe I understand the reason for the "fall off" in Georgia recruiting. Smart is transitioning to a greater reliance on the transfer portal and devoting more resources towards a seasoned veteran rather than young and super talented players. Spending a bunch on unproven talent that doesn't develop and transfers a year later is not a winning formula. I think getting high end high school talent will continue to be a part of the formula but far less resources will be devoted to it moving forward.
