Just more proof, in MANY cases, that the top players are bought and paid for by the highest bidder. What the school may offer in terms of education and development has become secondary. Go Dawgs!

Landing the best prospects is a big reason Georgia so often signed top recruiting classes. Did Conner really say that???

Georgia will still get 5 stars but development and being on a winning team actually becomes more important as 4 and 3 star guys who have something to prove will gravitate to Georgia to both 1) be part of a winning culture and 2) to be fully developed for the NFL 3) get a fair shake at starting time while other teams play the higher ranked guys regardless

We are going to see the golden years continue in my opinion but it will require more scouting service money and even more (it that's possible) development time. Guys who perform on the field will still get paid though, the bank isn't empty by any means.

Kirby saw Michigan and Indiana win with a bunch of older 3-stars and is banking on roster retention beating out star power.

An interesting note is that our most recent recruiting class was technically much higher ranked than it appeared to be. We would have jumped 3 spots and ahead of Oregon if the Duck’s QB had opted to our Dawgs before he started classes. That 2 week window cost us a 4 star recruit to be counted as a member of our class…….and Oregon got full credit for him as a member of their class eventhough he bailed on them. Oh well, it really doesn’t matter, but an interesting observation. Go Dawgs!!!
