When I hear about Stafford, it reminds me of the 2008 Sports Illustrated cover with Stafford, Knowshawn Moreno, and another Dawg star with the heading, "Who can catch the Dawgs?" Well, Stafford and the Dawgs choked that year from the preseason #1 team. My wife said she knew who could catch the Dawgs, too. "The Georgia State Patrol!"
Simpson is a 1st rd draft pick. He is on the team for 4 yrs regardless of performance. The QB pecking order is TBD. Preseason.play will determine a lot.
OR returns Dante Moore at QB. So Raiola is not likely to play this season unless Moore gets hurt.
At this point in time Stets has seen far more in game pressure than Simpson. If God forbid Staff went down in a game I’d go with Stets. He just has more experience than Simpson and Stets is a great athlete in his own right. Just my humble opinion.
