Well, if it is early playing time, Clemson is a better fit. If he wants to win, he will take time to fit in at UGA!
“My mom has to see those comments,” Williams said. “My grandma. My Dad. ... It is never really a great feeling to go through that, so I feel like once I make my decision I want to be fully into it.”
There seems to be a lot of maturity in his comments concerning the recruitment process compared to others at his age. I love to hear these recruits talk a lot about the God, home, and family impact in their decision and less about dollars. I know that NIL is a serious matter and must be considered, but the brevity used to discuss that matter in his comments is very classy. Like so many others, it could come down to immediate playing time (Clemson) versus the optimal development opportunity (UGA) as pointed out by @RedUga4Ever in the comment below.
And then it comes down to—where do you want to live for three or four years? The best college town in America-Athens, Ga-or that rat hole in the middle of nowhere-Clemson-SC? And then what kind of degree do you want- a signature degree from Clemson or a respected and earned degree from UGA?
