The impact those decisions have on others be dmmmd, eh Lane? Life is much to short to be burdened with a moral compass.
I will tip my cap to him on beating Kirby with the guys he brought into Ole Miss. He knows football and he knows how to get the right personnel. I don't think he gets to the playoff this year but if they do they will be formidable.
As far as his character. He has not grown up enough. He is still a baby man. He is embarrassing and he is a **** crap thrower. When I look at him and listen to him I think everything he says is total bs.
As a coach he is Ok; as a friend i would be more slective. All about the Benjamins!

Sorry Coach Kiffin, but you can't take credit for that discovery! It was surely "realized" very early on in human history, but if there was ever any doubt, the writer of the book of Hebrews was inspired to include it as truth. We know that everyone has an appointment with death because the Holy Spirit says so, not because Captain Obvious reveled it in a press conference!
We're all going to die so don't worry about the morality of your decisions? Just do what feels good?
As much as I dislike the guy, he will build a monster team at LSU, maybe replacing Bama. He is for sure a very talented coach!
Lane has never been about honor or commitment, just his own desires. If they line up with your university, which I'm sure they will at LSU, then they will probably enjoy success on the football field. In this modern world of mercenary football, he fits the bill. Just another step away from our old american way of life…

I don’t hate anyone, that’s a very powerful and toxic word. But I greatly dislike Kiffin. Note how he bashed his former team. He’s done that pretty much every place he’s Left for more $$. Right now he’s oozing love for LSU. But let some where else offer him significantly more $$ and Poof he’ll be gone.
And if in this case LSU complains about how he treated them by his leaving. He’ll say it’s all their fault. As far as dying goes Yes we All have an appointment with Death. Though I’m an extremely poor example of a Christian. My advice based on my faith is Be Sure you have invited Jesus Christ into your heart to be your Savior and Lord. It’s a free choice. A decision. In my faith it’s the only right decision.
In this wonderful country you have the right to choose who and what you place your faith in spiritually. Or not to choose anyone or anything. And that’s America. But out of Love ( yes and for Kiffin to). I ask Not demand read the book of Romans slowly and in your own words talk to God.
You might be an atheist or an agnostic. I’m not knocking you for that. That’s your choice. But I would ask you out of Love give Jesus Christ an opportunity. If your very sincere and serious you Can talk to God and He will reveal the Truth to you in a supernatural way ! I was 34 years old before I yielded and asked Him into my heart.Best decision I Ever made !! Second best was asking my wife of soon to be 42 years together to marry me !! I hope Lane will Really see that all the $$, fame, titles in the world don’t come close to the treasure that Jesus Christ is !

Hate him all you want but Kiffin made the right decision—for him and his family. Now, he has a legit chance for at least one NC, maybe more at LSU. A much tougher row to hoe, maybe impossible at OM
If AL offered Coach Smart $20-25M per year for five or seven years, he would take it. His life would be so much easier: easier player and coaching talent acquisition, easier paths to the NC, more NCs and earlier retirement. Who could blame him?

Well, we can all think what we want about Lane, but if my team was a big time program in need of a coach to put it in contention most every year, I would not be hating on the hire to get this version of Lane Kiffin. And by that, I mean how he has coached since he became the Ole Miss head coach.
We can all throw stones and hate, but truth be told, Ole Miss is not close to LSU or a dozen other schools, at minimum. And I think we would have all done the same thing and took the LSU job and getting what 91 million, 14 million a year…at LSU? If that was a deal breaker, come now or I don't get the job? I mean it is LSU. If that were the case, I would have hated it and it would have been as hard of a decision as it gets, but I cannot say I would not have done the exact same thing, especially with the players doing the exact same thing to their team mates and coaches, every single year.
