The common college football fan does not know who Jaden Reddell is. Even casual Georgia fans might not be able to tell you all that much about the third-year player.

"If Hartley had his way, Reddell would receive plenty of admiration and attention for what he’s become.
“He’s everything that’s good about college football,” Hartley said."
I agree, and a great way to recognize and appreciate his effort and loyalty is to throw him the ball. I doubt he will ask for it, or pout if he doesn't get it based on what I've read about the kind of guy he is. UGA probably has four TEs that are better than Daequan Wright, and Jayden Reddell is one of them. Reward him and his kind of work ethic could become contagious!
GO DAWGS!
There for a minute I thought the article was more about Wright than Reddell. If he is so talented I hope we can find a way to put him on the field.
I too admire him for what he's become, but as we do so many times, we have an embarrassment of riches at one position. We usually have this at either QB or TE. We have 4 really, really good TE's and I'm very glad to have them, but it keeps me on the edge of my seat wondering how long we can hold onto all of them. They must all be very high character guys and they must understand the benefits of being at UGA.
Good for Reddell !! If he just keeps chopping hard he Will go very far !! Moving Prothro to be a slot WR with the understanding that in the long term he’s still a TE. Is one way of helping keep these talented players.
Just Please don’t over do it using them as blockers. Throw them the ball !! I totally get that they need to be effective blockers and they Do need to be used for that important role. But give them love as often as possible by throwing them the ball !
We don’t want our talented TEs to be “shocked” when a pass is directed their way. All this said unless he shows me a reason not to I will trust in CMB to call plays to spread the ball around. I’ve got great feelings about this 2026 Dawgs team !!
Hopefully we will get the football in his hands so he can do what good tight do. Unfortunately, that’s not in the hands of the fans.
good tight ends
I'm looking forward to lots of substitutions Saturday. The temperature forecast at game time is still in the middle 90s. Maybe a little moisture after the half, but it will still be hot. Having good depth at TE allows for keeping them more rested and hydrated.
Kirby was Smart to give the players a good taste of like conditions earlier in practices and hopefully, they can adjust to playing with wet hands.
Go Hot Dawgs !!!
Don't kid yourself. As much as Reddell's loyalty to UGA was a factor in his staying, a nice bump in NIL played a key role.
Yesterday it was an article EWilliams sky high potential/expectations. Today it is the vaunted expectations of Reddell.
IF CMB uses the UGA TE's this year like he did last year he is likely to be run out of Athens on a rail.
With the talent at tight end and the ability of a couple of them to play the slot or even move out to WR. Then factor in the RB room and the offense might be the best in in more than a decade.
He looks like the best TE on the roster, he sure passes the eye test. I thought he looked the best at G Day.
