This is the problem with early commitments. In a way one cannot blame since he wasn’t going to start early and maybe not even next year. The ones that bother me are players like Bear Alexander and Pops Dumas who both would be starters that left. Anyway it’s not a revenge game since he didn’t talk smack about Georgia. Go Dawgs
It’s not so much the early commitment. It’s the late flip that screwed us over. We passed on other good QBs.
I am one Dawg thankful JC showed his hand and flipped….JC would have never started at Georgia as he was unwilling to be developed and earn the start by winning the competition with others who were. The #1 task this Saturday is for every DAWG to play at a level which makes JC's poor choice clearly evident…..for this will be the competition he tried to avoid.
Hope the Dawgs put up 60 on JC and the Commodores.
@Tswood1959 - It’s revenge to me. Why? Because Curtis lied and consistently misled our coaches. While, I never liked our choosing him as our QB recruit in the last recruiting cycle, but once he committed, we didn’t try recruiting any other QBs. I always like the kid from Texas (name?) who played against much better competition and seemed to be a stand-up young man. Never trusted Curtis, but our staff did because he reassured them he was coming to UGA. He lied.
