The OL group has incredible talent and should be able to show steady improvement (like we saw last week) as the season progresses. With 5.8 yards per play against OU, that is the range that will allow your offense to possess the ball for sustained drives and dictate the pace of the game. It's not only up to the defense to stop Russell, Chambliss, and Philo but as long as our offense is slowly and methodically moving the ball down the field toward the end zone making first downs, all these dynamic QBs can do is stand on the sideline and watch while precious minutes/seconds tick off of the clock.
