ATHENS — Perhaps no Georgia player has ever succinctly summed up Gunner Stockton than defensive lineman Jordan Hall.

Felt like we were practicing downfield throws and saving our RBs for next week.
Absolutely. Gunner was fabulous today. Good reads for the most part, and he wasn't holding the ball too long. (10) different players caught passes. My only concern from today was him throwing a few balls into tight coverage or even guys double covered. Those balls could have been intercepted, but he knows his receivers. Gunner has definitely improved his game from last season and looks more comfortable.
His big test will be next weekend in Tuscaloosa where he will probably get more pressure in his face and have to make even quicker and smarter decisions. Next week a turnover could cost us the game. If the O-line can do their job and guys can create space, then I feel like he can win.
Gunner had a lot of fun playing football. I had a lot of fun watching him.
Go, Dawgs!
I just like to hope that games like today will hush the naysayers. Accuracy. Distance. High pressure passes. Check, check, and check.
The Mud Lizards Coach told his team before playing Mizzou today to be humble. Maybe they didn’t heed him as Mizzou is destroying the Gators !! Exactly what I tried to say today about Each Game being unique. Our Dawgs had just enough struggle on Defense to help Keep Them Humble. Perhaps Some got caught looking ahead to Bama ? Especially when they found out Curtis wasn’t playing ? It happens on any given Saturday to the best of teams.
I am supremely confident that the Dawgs Only Focus will be on Bama this week. And I Believe the Dawgs Defense will want to redeem themselves. As for Gunner and the Offense they Needed the confidence boost. Confidence is a Good thing, Arrogance is not. Go Dawgs !!
Florida is getting their tail handed too them and we also have to play Mizzu
True statement Navydawg. Possibly the dawgs thought this game was gonna be a cakewalk after the way they started the season. Vandy can surprise you.
It’s still way too early to tell. But this Might be the year the SEC returns to dominance. The SEC looks improved as a whole to me.
Talk about stepping up - Stockton was almost flawless today and they needed him more than ever. Vandy was bent on knocking him out and he not only stood in there and took the hits and absolutely carved them up. Passes were hitting receivers in stride and he showed true guts out there. Need the rest of the team to step up for next week. Go DAWGS!
