Is Conner Riley the model for Hunter DeLauder ?

I've been critical of Connor, perhaps too much so. But I was reading an article by Hunter DeLauder and was immediately struck by the following phrase:

While discussing Peyton Woodring, he wrote "

The three-time Lou Garza Award semifinalist

Now I know Hunter is likely quite young and probably never watched Lou Groza play, but come on. Lou GARZA? This is shoddy work. He either never knew the correct name or didn't bother to check his work. Just shoddy. That Is why I suspected Conner may have been tutoring him or something.

My last complaint of the week concerning Dawg Nation staffing. Who is in charge of that, anyway? How do they select their staff?

I've given up on spelling & grammar being correct by the staff on this site. I justify it by assuming standards don't apply to "reporting" or "opinion" on electronic formats. Don't know it that's the case. If not, never seen anything this bad, ever, in "journalism". I can only imagine Connor or Hunter trying to make it under a Furman Bisher type editor.
