The president said he did not want to distract first responders during the storm. He pledged to visit both teams at a later date.

lol. ok. this just means that the people who got their tickets pulled got double screwed (unless there's something that i'm missing re: how this sort of visitation works).
it was cool that he was going. i know he's attended several, and i can't think of another president who's done that. still, on one hand, i imagine several people lost out on their tickets because of it. on another, i don't think the president would have been particularly loud, so it's not like his not showing up was going to diminish any crowd noise. on my third hand (yes, i'm an amputated octopus, and it's hard to get around. leave me alone. i'm sensitive about it), i really hope that the folks that lost their tix were offered them back (unless they were Bama fans, in which case, I hope they were offered up at subpar cost and UGA fans snatched them).
Hey, yall. I know this whole commentary is dumb. I'm just having some fun with a very silly situation…
Two words, two simple words:
Yay! alright!
Go Dawgs!
Great news!
Why did they not list Herschel as the former Georgia heisman trophy winner and national champion? 🤨
bama wins when he attends, so great news. Now, is AF1 can be a one-way hurricane hunter, even better news
Any President has a right to attend the game like anyone else. Down through history many Presidents of different political parties have attended sporting events including football. So he decided Not to go. It’s not a big deal either way. Our sole objective as fans should be to cheer our beloved Dawgs to VICTORY !!! Go Dawgs !!
For all my Brother & Sister Dawgs fans who will be attending the game in person. Please Be Safe !! God Bless you All. Will be Great to hear you tell how you watched our Dawgs get the W over Bama !!
I was glad to here this news because there is going to be enough distractions for the fans in and around the stadium without having to have the traffic congestion caused by the President's security force. Plus the fact that any time he would move in the stadium, they would shut down all communication so that our coaches could not reach out to the green dot players while that was going on.
Just a lot of disruption in a game with enough going on as it is…….actually glad he had the sense to decide not to come…..he recognized how problematic his presence would have been.
when performance is as lousy as his, maybe he should focus more on the job instead of attending sporting events on our tax dollars.
