ATHENS — Not that Kirby Smart cares, but Georgia is no longer the No. 1 team in the country.

Maybe #4 is too high for us after yesterday. Conner Riley would not allow comments on his "final grades" article. Most people agree that it was a complete debacle except Conner with a grade of "F". Every facet of the team needs a reset including the coaching staff. I don't understand why we cannot get a better special teams effort. Why can't we block a punt or a field goal like other teams? How long ago has it been since we blocked a punt or FG ? We still might lose to Florida or Ole Miss with Trinadad running wild over us! Go Dawgs and rest up for Florida!
Not a doubt in my mind, nor in others, especially his team mates….Gunner is our guy, our leader, and at times our savior. Therein lies the issue. Gunner has to refuse to allow his "savior complex" to override his grasp of fundamentals and situational awareness….batted balls, especially off the helmet of your center or the arms of defenders, passes sailing at sonic speed over the hands of receivers, and fumbles caused by running into your blocker aren't allowing team mates to do their part in a team victory.
A #4 ranking is very generous after the abysmal performance yesterday.
The fatigued and battered excuse does not sit well with me at all. This NIL era means you are professional. More is expected of you. If CKS ran the players into the ground then I hope he learned something. Vote me down if you will. It's just the way I see it.
I offer some thoughts on Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs losing to Auburn, plus expansion of the College Football Playoff and favorite college game-day traditions.Click below to check out my latest Junkyard Blawg.
