Dawgnation, have any of you watched the Falcons play? Be glad the Bulldogs don't look like them. They should move them out of Atlanta.
I had to stop watching them at the end of the 1st quarter. Pure punishment trying to watch that sorry team.
I am shocked our dawgs only dropped to #5. Even after beating Georgia, Auburn is still unranked!
Go Dawgs. Great win for Auburn. Think we shoul have pulled our quarterback fo the first quarter based on the horrendous hit he took ,staff should have overridden his zeal to get in game. Puglisi more than capable till we were sure our guy was good. Affected his game greatly, already tired, blasted by three huge defensive guys, not wise on staff. Kudos to Dawgs. Tired, weary, injury plagued. Bi-week needed. Tough, tough schedule ahead.
I believe Georgia is 4th, not 5th.
Maybe Bobo shouldn't have called a QB run on the 1st play of the game? Reminded me of Bobo calling a TE jet aweep for Bowers against Vandy. Why?
Connor, I'm not sure what you were smoking earlier, but this isn't the correct AP Top 25. You don't even have Notre Dame in there. Notre Dame is #4, Texas Tech is #8.
Dawgs are #5, but you have them at #4.
My bad. Connor has it wrong.
Right after I read this earlier, I went and checked the rankings. We were listed at 4, with TT at 5 and ND 8. Now it’s different… weird
It helped that 5 of the top 7 lost. Otherwise, we likely drop further. Crazy week of College Football. The 3 weeks after the bye will be very telling for the Dawgs, obviously.
It looks like he has the coaches poll. When the dust settles, the Dawgs are in great shape, but get ready for another game against a team desperate to break through against them. Hopefully the bye will make a difference.
How in the name of all that's journalism can you publish such a badly done article?
It reminds me of a football game in Sanford Stadium yesterday.
Go, Dawg!
Dawgs at #5 shocked me! Thought they would tap out at #7 at best. Yes, five of seven top schools lost that helped. Georgia better somehow regain their mojo as Florida will be riveted on revenge. Mobile QB with an arm gets you a win vs the Dawgs it seems.
What gets you a win is a opponent (Georgia in this case, the Auburn game) which can't tackle, can't hold onto the football, can't pass the ball, throws interceptions, can't run the ball, and has a coach not in top form to boot.
I agree. Anybody thinking the Dawgs should only drop to #5 didn't watch the game. I agree, too, that all the other loses by top schools helped.
Florida has been very hot and cold this season. We have to plan for them to be hotter than hot.
Kirby & Company have their work cut out for them starting with their own heads.
Go, Dawgs!
