I feel fairly confident that maybe the one area I am most concerned about is Special Teams. Can’t imagine GS having another game like that the rest of the year, yeah the tackling against AU was pretty bad or worse but we’ve seen this defense play extremely well and pretty sure that will be the norm going forward. Special Teams however have not been particularly special this entire season to this pt. I would not trade Woodring for any other placekicker that I know of in the country but Miller’s punting has left MUCH to be desired. Very inconsistent and his directional kicking to this point is nonexistent. Think I read where UGA has started an offensive possession inside our own 10 yd line somewhere in the mid or upper teens so far yet our opponents have started there 4 times. That’s a huge disadvantage. And kick returns are equally poor. TV announcers keep saying the opposition is fixing to kick to “ the dangerous White-Helton”. He has been dangerous but unfortunately to UGA not the opposition. I think Green was being groomed to handle those duties before he was injured but surely we have a better option than W-H. Hopefully those special teams are working hard to become special during this off week and next. Go Dawgs!
