The same uf team that also lost to South Carolina by 3 touchdowns..
Weren't we favored by double digits against Auburn?! Yep. So it don't mean a thing…
Just remember the Gators have beaten Ole Miss and Texas.
Lol… we were a 20 pt favorite against Auburn also
Georgia sitting at 3rd and the Gators at 17th means absolute;y nothing. Last outing, Florida beat the Longhorns..not saying it means that much now…..but Georgia…ranked #1…looked pitiful against a hapless, unranked, Auburn bunch. Georgia favored by 10 pts above Florida? No way. I do not trust Kirby now to resurrect a team that could not tackle, stop the run or run the ball themselves a couple weekends ago. If Gunner did not suffer a head trauma then UGA is in real trouble following that performance. Kirby is going to have to prove to me he can bring back the Dawgs from a bad loss. End of rant.
The Dawgs have a game on their hands. As a matter of fact they have several games on their hands for the second half of the regular season. I have no idea how the team is going to look, or rebound from the humility that was "a week away " as Kirby says. The Dawgs have not played Mizzou or South Carolina in a while, with the Chickens being at Sandstorm Stadium. It will be an interesting end to the season for sure. What started as a promising run game has dwindled to Peanut and the backups. I have not seen UGA turn the ball over at this rate in a long time. I have heard people say that the AU loss was exactly what they needed. The media did go overboard with praise after the Bama win and #1 ranking. The boys hearing about how good they were was not ideal.
You can take nothing for granted these days. Who could have predicted Oregon losing to Illinois? Or the Vols to SC? Or Georgia to Auburn for that matter? Georgia needs to come out on fire and make statement in this game. When Kirby said once "we will not be hunted at the University of Georgia, we're the ones who hunt" I got gossebumbs. It seems like Kirby and the team has softened on that stance. They need to get back to that mindset.
LOL at that point spread! Everyone on this board and also on ON3 that we will win 59-3 and never lose another game on the way to another easy run through the playoffs. Walt Disney lives!!!!
I have faith that our Dawgs will rebound. Two weeks to lick our wounds and adjust our mindset. Hopefully Nate will be at 100% and Canion will be back as well. GO DAWGS!!
"Florida, meanwhile, has visions of this being the first of two trips to Mercedes-Benz Stadium -- the SEC championship game will be played there on Dec. 5."
Not only that, but like Auburn it has been a while since they beat UGA (once in the last 9 seasons) and this would be a signature win for their season. Every team on our schedule has this game circled, and we are sure to see every one of them at their very best because of who UGA is among the CFB elite. That is why the Dawgs have to show up ready to play on every snap, not just every game.
GO DAWGS!
Time to start performing up to our ranking. The win over Bama was nice but that was just the beginning of some tuff games.
Georgia was a tired beaten up team after the emotional Bama game, FU will not have the advantage the Barn had, we’ll be ready. UGA barely covers, Vegas says book it
10.5 seems high, but who knows? We could win by 30 or loose by 14. Our D has to get better and Bobo needs to keep the pedal to the metal the entire game. IF (yeah, ALL CAPS) those two things happen, we win easily. The question being will those 2 things happen? Don’t know.
