Getting to the SECC game may depend on the tiebreaker with another two (or by seaon's end three loss) team that beat Auburn. LSU, FL, TN have all beaten Auburn, and Ole Miss and Bama soon will. Win out and leave no doubt! GO DAWGS!
why haven’t the Falcons called Blankenship?
“The first CFP rankings will come out Tuesday night, and the biggest mystery hanging in the air is how the committee will value the SEC’s schedule strength and nonconference record vs. raw win-loss records.”
So true. Just a quick look at the extreme difference between the conferences’ records against Power 4 teams in non conference games shows the superiority of the SEC over every other conference. Will it matter? I doubt it for one obvious reason, to wit: the committee consists of human beings with extreme biases. The Dawgs have been shafted by the committee for years. Therefore, beating Florida is very important. Any excuse to eliminate the Dawgs from the playoffs must be avoided.
Need to win the turnover battle tomorrow. Got to protect the ball. We got lucky against Bama - think it was four fumbles but all where recovered. Then against Auburn three turnovers.
If Georgia doesn't get if offense together for next week, Ole Miss will run us out of Oxford like a pack of untrained puppies. We can't make mistakes like dropping passes and getting penalties on third downs or missing chip shot field goals.
