Miami should be at No. 1 when the first set of CFP rankings come out on Tuesday, but sorting out the rest of the field could prove complex for the CFP Selection Committee.

One of the frustrating things about Miami and Notre Dame, with next week's game likely touted as the game of the century, is that neither team has played anybody truly worth a dang. Meanwhile, the SEC pummels itself throughout the regular season. I'd love to see either one of those teams play any SEC schedule, see how they hold up. Maybe I'm wrong, but I bet it wouldn't be pretty. Go Dawgs!
I know rankings aren’t based on what ifs, but Georgia would handily beat Utah and ucla. But it might be better if we stay where we are to give Kirby the disrespect angle. But, the polls will mean nothing after Tuesday night.
CFP committee left fsu out of the playoffs after their starting QB was lost. But since its the little 10's best team, osu wont suffer the same consequences that fsu did with a back up QB.
AND florida in the top 25?? 😂🤣😂
I'm going to say this now, I don't want a first round bye. We've crashed out two years in a row with first round byes. Both times we looked underdone while our opponent looked sharp with a warm-up game under their belt. Maybe we bake the cake a little different this time. Just my thoughts.
@1SICemDAWGS1 Florida has two really good wins …. Texas and Ole Miss, losses to Georgia, South Carolina and Missouri — all Top 25 worthy
@Georgia67 It's one less game in the playoffs to win a title
Still 3 losses no matter the opponent..
Man, I was rooting hard for the tar heels last night…
Also, I know Indiana won, but Minnesota is really not good…
Thanks Mike! This first poll on Tuesday will be an eye opener for sure. Ohio State has 2 losses to teams with 2 losses. Of course, we have a loss to a poor Auburn team. Ouch! However, it came a week after a blood bath against Bama. Plus Auburn had two weeks to get ready. ND’s loss to BYU is very telling about just how weak its schedule really is. A loss to Miami SHOULD eliminate ND from playoff consideration. Of course, it won’t, but it should.
Our Dawgs are in a precarious position. After, yesterday’s **** win (**** imo anyway), the Ole Miss game looks like a probable loss imo. Hoping I’m wrong, but…. South Carolina in Columbia also looks daunting. And who knows how good Missouri really is. Can a 3 loss Dawg team make the playoffs? Don’t think so even though a 3 loss Georgia would be much more deserving than a 2 loss ND. If strength of schedule really means anything, a 3 loss SEC team deserves a playoff birth more than any Big 10 team with 2 losses, but we all know the charade games the committee plays won’t allow that to happen.
AND all 3 losses were **** losses, they looked completely lost against SC, Mizzou and UGA. I'll give the Gators defense credit, they didnt play too bad of a game against the DAWGS. If not for that group, they might be a 1 or 2 win team. They kept uf in the game yesterday as best as they couldv.. too bad for florida that the offense looked like a middle school offense.
Once again I lost my mind and used the spelled u g l y. [lease forgive my insensitivity.😂😂😂😂
As was I, and as much as i dislike the nc coach, I dislike Mario crystalball even less..
Censored my u g l y word too 🤣
