Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Labeling someone a "bandwagon fan" based upon social media and discussion forum participation makes someone sound really young. Most adults have more significant stuff going on in our lives than to spend countless hours debating which incoming freshman is going to take over the SEC. That stuff is fun but keeping the household running and getting kids to music lessons or ball practice doesnt mean someone is less of a fan. I remember the dawgvent when Jim Donnan was considering the UNC job, but I havent posted there since 2003.

False advertising. I thought you had a new cocktail to recommend. Mods ought to take you to the woodshed.

When I was a kid my dad explained to me about swimmers and bankwalkers. I haven’t heard that term in decades, but it did make me chuckle thinking about him.

Where I live our Dawgs gathering place is a very small sports bar...I went there for a game this year and could not find a place to sit...I hung around for about 20 minutes and finally said "The hell with this".........Of course nothing beat the jumping on the bandwagon like the Braves in '91......laughing....most of these people did not even know who the players were.

I welcome it. The more fans equals more viewers For better game start times. I also live out west so trying to find any kind of UGA gear is impossible so it would be nice to have more options. Can only help in recruiting, too.
