Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Here’s my question though: why? Do they know something we don’t? Do YOU know something we don’t? Like I understand the kid has had his issues but wouldn’t we rather him be our project than someone else’s? Take him and if he’s an issue then let him go next year. I just don’t understand
I took it to mean no need to go hunting when you already have THE bird in your basket..not saying they should have gotten Tank but that they were set already.
I’ve posted everything I’ve heard in this thread this morning. “Knowing“ is probably too strong of a description.
Staff knows enough to make a decision to “walk away” from a top 5 overall talent in this class. Not an easy decision I’m sure.
I always kinda got the impression that Kendall liked Zach and was cool with Tank but not itching to play with him. And that Mr. Milton was maybe annoyed at the attention Evans was getting when Milton was always solid and working hard. JMO.
You’re right, my bad. Read that completely wrong. I’m doing too much.
I mean, Tank is a DSGB...not sure how much him and a Cali guy would hit it right off.
I think Kendall would've gotten along with whoever else they brought in. Classy kid.
SoFl_Dawg - thanks for everything you do and post. It is disappointing to lose Evans but it is what it is. Time to move on. I wish others would stop hounding you about this. You have said all you can. I can’t wait til your next big scoop on a different recruit. Thanks again.
No thanks. IMO. But if Kirby and Dell want him I trust them. Think that bridge is burned anyway
Since you know what happened please let the rest of us know. I am not sure how you can talk about the coaches like that unless you have information the rest of us do not have.
Anyone else feel like ESD to NSD has the same feel as a gym on Jan 1st-2nd ?
We lose a counter even if he doesn't enroll. The counter was burned as soon as he signed the NLI. That's a spot we can't use on another player this year.
Imagine thinking that a HS football coach was able to manipulate Kirby Smart into not adding the #1 running back to his recruiting class.
I hope this young man grows from this. It's gotta be rough to have your dream offer pulled back. But he has to learn about consequences of your actions. Welcome to the "real world" son.
