Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

He couldn't have signed yesterday, it's outside of the signing period. The next open window for signing is NSD. He could still flip.
Well. We take up phones every time we travel. If you coached and were responsible for that many kids on a road trip.....you'd take up phones as well....
Rusty just posted that we get the spot back as well.
Again, phone restrictions and confiscations are very, very common when dealing with kids in any activity. Not a rare thing at all.
Maybe too much of a moral lean here, but with all the "stuff" you can access on a phone, kid's shouldn't have unlimited access to a smartphone anyway. At least without some type of accountability or filter...
Time for Kirby to find a Thomas Davis type kid to fill the BPA slot...
gotta believe there are a few to be found.
And I had an issue a few years ago of 4 softball girls texting after curfew and trying to sneak out......if the front desk person hadn't noticed them and called me....I'd probly been held liable if something had happened.
Our school policy for the past 5 years....after that incident.... has been to confiscate phones at curfew for all traveling teams. And the parents know it.
Asking for it if you don't collect the phones.
No need to get butthurt, I wasn’t referring to you. I was referring to Novadawg, the poster I initially responded to. The poster who said everything that transpired was because of the coach.
He is a kid and it is the coaches responsibility to prevent from happening. Yes, Zach is on the hook as well. He shouldn’t have gotten into a physical altercation with the coach. But at the end of the day the coach should have just let Zach go into college with a clean slate.
How did the coach keep Zach from entering college with a clean slate?
I certainly understand your disappointment.....but why blame the coach.
I honestly think (speculation) that Zach wanted to be far from the area that he lived in. i read you posts leading up to this, and you mentioned how bad of an area that it was.
Maybe playing in another state would allow him to leave all that behind.
Move on to 21 backs will Shipley and Evan Pryor
This is hilarious
I like ashaad Clayton tho. I really like the program he comes from. Easton has something good going on down there. Go reel him in CH
Agree. I think Georgia could have done him some good....but from what I know about the situation and from what soflow has shared.....Zach needed to do certain things.....he wasn't able to.
Tough situation.....but Zach should still be able to get a fresh start at a school if he takes advantage of the opportunity.
I don’t know enough to blame anybody in this. Just curious about the “Texas” thing. Why would any adult care what some kid tweeted or Instagrammed about any college? Seems like all these guys “troll” all the time. Just seems odd that anyone would care. I think if a highly ranked instate kid in GA did something like that there might be blowback from fans, but unless it was profane hard to imagine coaches getting involved. Is there more to it than that?
