Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Will create severe depth issues going forward.
The stress of keeping flight risks satisfied and worrying about Tom Mars stirring up PR attacks on the university presents its own set of problems. Unless the NCAA reins this shite in it's safe to say the portal has ruined the conventional process.
Americus said today that Zirkel is still a blueshirt as of now.
Everyone but a certain person thinks he is lol.
Win some and lose some. Regular college kids can transfer whenever and wherever they please. I'm fine with athletes doing the same.
Has the conventional process been wrong all along?
I want Rakestraw!!
Dude is gonna be the top corner taken in 3 years.
Especially if he comes to UGA and is coached up by Kirby.
The additions of Rakestraw and D. Edwards means that UGA will not likely eclipse Clemson for the number one class... and I don’t care! Both of those guys just feel like Dawgs to me (and it’s not like a 310+ is some kind of embarrassing recruiting score).
I'm pretty sure Rakestraw is gonna get a big boost in the last 247 composite
does Clemson have anymore room to add a player?
I think they have room for one more, but Dabo is not known for adding “scout-teamers.”
Well depending on how highly ranked that guy is, we have the ability to get to 314.59 247 composite score IF we add Rakestraw, Jackson, Lundy, Edwards, & hold onto Jones & SVPG.
I think Kirby finds a way to get 25 if those 4 want in.
the 5th would be Huntley if we can't get Jackson, but with Jordan Davis having the ability to head to the NFL after 2020, Jackson's addition to this class is crucial.
Yeah, a lot of this is just CFB having to reconcile being a billion dollar industry that effectively doesn't pay it's primary workers. You can't also restrict their movement more than you do any other student. Both the legality and optics of persisting with the old model is just untenable. The NCAA is moving slowly (in my opinion too slowly) to avoid doing too much too fast. Also, in my opinion, they just haven't budged in their outdated conceptualization of the student athlete and truly don't want to afford them more freedom, and thus power.
In short, there may not actually be a way to preserve CFB as we know it and still do the right thing. If a system is exploitative there isn't necessarily going to to be a non-exploitative way to get the same thing.
Georgia won't be able to hold on to 4 talented QB's. At least one transfers if Chase decides to come to Athens next week.
Don’t believe a 2nd Grad transfer comes. 1) Newman, 2)Beck, 3) Bennett, 4) Mathis
That is your QB room for 2020.
You can't sustain a program on free agents.
