Y’all rather have emery or Evans?
Ill reiterate, I’d be surprised if Evans ends up at TAMU at this point. If our staff is good with the “situation” I think we’ll be hard to overcome.
***I reserve my right to change my opinion if something comes out that is detrimental to the brand of UGA and Evans is no longer a take. As of 9/16, I feel confident in saying I think he’ll be a Dawg (should be choose UGA; not a silent commit)***
Tough choice. Emery would be my vote because of Ive seen him play all around and basically look like Faulk. Big body, fast, and can do it all. Evans is very incredible to me as well. I think he is a exciting guy that'll break alot of long runs. Reminds me of Ed James before the knee injuries. I wanna see his hands if they are at least good he is better overall. Think he is in the talks with Zeus, Leonard, and Henry as the few backs that have been the best since AP
Team, let's respect @SoFL_Dawg's decision, and allow him to enjoy it as well. /s
Man, I hope he is a take but if not, I hope he chooses a school outside the SEC. I’d hate it Jimbo or Cousin Eddie “won” a recruiting battle. But whatever is best for Zach is what matters.
where is the /s
A kid does not base where he goes to school based on the head to head result of his 2 finalists.
Anybody that thinks like this is an absolute idiot
Evans, Burch and Sewell? Christmas comes early! 🎄
I still want Evans. This is all just noise hopefully and as others have said I think there’s some TAMU stuff behind the scenes. Not that they are going to get him but that the last 2 times he’s been rumored to be committing it’s been that lame account associated with one of their fans trying to steal his thunder.
IMO, Emery is the best back last 2 years. Last 3 years:
Zeus, Emery, Evans, B. Robinson, Milton/Davis
Tyrion Davis correct?
In two games, Emery has 24 yards on 9 carries out of the 56 non-QB LSU carries (16%). Really would've liked to see how he would've done at UGA with our OL and available PT.
In two games, McIntosh has 128 yards on 13 of 67 non-QB carries (19%) in his 2 games. Not really a great comparison as neither got reps in meaningful games and are sitting behind some big playmakers on their respective teams. Will be interesting to see how it all shapes up once the cupcakes are out of the way.
ETA: Should've done a google search instead of a stat search on Trey Sanders. Removing an uninformed comparison. Thanks @Jay
Sanders had a major injury before the season started.
Ah, good call. I didn't realize that, thanks for the update. Hope he gets better
R u talking about Trey Sanders? If so, hes out for the season.
I 2nd Sofl, Emery best back since Zeus.
Can’t speak on regular season but I do know at a scrimmage against LSU 1’s showed him housing a 98 yarder. They got a pretty stout D out there too.
Sanders had a season ending injury back in August

A&M has such a hard schedule and has already lost to Clemson. They still have #8 Auburn this weekend, #2 Alabama in two weeks, @#3 UGA in late November and #@LSU on Thanksgiving weekend after that. Good chance A&M finishes with 4+ losses. Even though A&M has unlimited money and a National Championship winning coach, they do not have what Georgia has. Top O-Line in the country, a great back room where you can split carries, and a proven success in the NFL coming out of this system as a RB.
"False alert"
Behind the scenes there is a lot of smoke out there...
No one said anything about it, so I guess I am the first one to notice... Evans got a CB to the good guys taking the total for UGA from 69% to 75%. I would take that as a good sign. Can anyone confirm who it is? Go Dawgs!
