Interesting. I have no idea what the recovery would be like from a brain surgery. It's not like a muscle (well, I guess it is but you know what I mean) that needs time to slowly heal or risk getting re-damaged. Could a hard hit to the helmet cause serious harm? Either way, I'm glad we're being cautious and I'd love to see him take a redshirt and grow and improve and be ready to potentially start next season.
