    In April, UF fans were giddy that Cox was caught with weed. Now, they are giddy for having our fourth stringer on their team. I expect Mullet will keep a close eye on Kirby's dumpster in the future to see if there are more Dawg throw aways that will be good fits for his character challenged group of misfits. Other than possibly WR, there's not the first Gator that would start for the Dawgs! And this is supposed to be the team that the talking heads predict will be our Dawgs? I don't think so!

    In advance to our younger fans, I apologize if you are offended. So many of the college age generation were raised with a sense of entitlement . Add to the fact, so many of our talented high school athletes are treated as highly privileged students. These young men are hit in the face by the reality and competition of major college football programs. Those with the right type of family support and internal strength of character will grow and thrive in such programs. They become better men for the experience. Others fail, some, like Cox, find escape by joining the grass is greener crowd.

    The current confusion athletic portal system makes the situation even worse. Think about all the great Georgia Dawgs who, at first, had "issues" but were forced to make it work and did so, having great college careers and better for the experience. The "portal" system will not, in the long run, be of benefit to our young men.

    @rjallen

    And who raised this generation that is so entitled? And who treats these talented high school students as highly privileged students? Everyone that blames the younger generation never seem to lay any blame on the generation that caused the problem. Funny how thats ALWAYS the case.
