We are all being lied to about topics of critical importance. Some corporations are totally out of control. Proctor and Gamble flaunts their willingness to deceive us. Who do they think they are kidding teying to claim there is more product in the smaller container? (BTW, the Home Goods brand of toilet papet sold by Kroger is actually really good stuff.)

Well, Im not an anti-gay activist, so there’s that. I’m also not saying I’m above squatting over the occasional fountain. There's a reason for that. I worked at a consulting firm that I kid you not, got paid a six figure amount to evaluate how to reduce the amount of paper used in a roll and increase the amount of paper used per use in ways that people wouldn't notice. The team working on it looked at width, thickness, length of the square, the number of squares.

To me, the project was the epitome of why I hated consulting. Just know that stuff like this happens and it makes it very hard for your average consumer to pick up on the tricks played to increase profitability at the expense of the consumer. I'm all for a company making money with a great product, but not a company manipulating it's product to eek out more profits by delivering less value.

From a lady's perspective:

First, I avoided this thread for a day or so because of the thread title. I was adventuresome today and took a peak. As a nurse, this is one of my favorite threads (along with Coach's Corner and Next to Commit...). Nurses love gross...

Second, speaking purely for myself, I prefer all the junk to be CLEAN. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Use the wet wipes- we can tell the difference.

Third, I appreciate the light-hearted nature of this thread. The intensity of some threads takes a bit of fun out of it- although, I still read every post for fear of missing one lil nugget of intel.
