Georgia football plummets in AP and Coaches Polls after loss to South Carolina
Georgia football suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday and did so in rather embarrassing fashion, falling at home to the South Carolina Gamecocks 20-17. Lose and drop 7 spots, while nd and flawida drop only 2 spots after a loss.. Good old "experts" for you. I don't see UGA, flawida or nd being top 10 teams at this point.

They still control their own destiny, which is good. But my confidence is low. I’ll try to just enjoy what’s left of the season. It’s just football and it’s only once a year.

Both those teams lost on the road to teams ranked higher than them, not to an I in ranked team with a losing record at home. Huge difference.
Recruits are going to start going to Carolina just to knock off Georgia and Clemson. Muscle man moved his program way up Saturday. Why would want to dream about Alabama and LSU when Carolina took them to the woodshed. Looks like my wife will get her winter vacation to Orlando or Tampa this year. Just don't make it a habit like Richt did.

If we had beaten you and lost to SC at home, we'd be lower than number 10. Still, I'm sorry for your loss. I was rooting for you. I don't mean to be offensive, but I couldn't help asking myself during the game why you didn't play us that way. That's CFB, I suppose.
If you guys take care of the rest of your schedule, then yeah, you're a top 10 team for sure. If we do, then so are we. Even if our schedule is tanking for the second year in a row.
