players comments interesting,, slightly contrasting to coaches perspective. Sounds like paid professional, instead of a team guy....Nothing different expected for a transfer into the program, from losing his starting position at Clemson,,,,, unlike Cager/ Wolf whom would have started at the schools they left

How many teams has UGA played coming off a bye week this season? Glad that Bryant's playing. The Dawgs take everyone's best shot and keep on winning.

ATD - Five SEC teams (USCjr, UT, UF, UM, AU) out of the eight they play this year have or will have come off of BYE weeks. Add to this travesty TWO of the Four non-SEC teams (MS and GT) on the schedule have or had mid week games the week before and therefore they will have had 9 to 10 days of prep time as well. Plus throw in the fact that Vandy was the season opener (hence pretty much a December 20 to August 31 BYE) our pups have had the SEC and inner Athletic Department screw job put to them this year. Keeping that in mind, Kirby has done a tremendous job prepping our team to overcome more than any other team has had to this year, in the middle of back to back to back games against BYE competition I hope they have the stamina to keep on choppin! The last time it was so skewed in the SEC was 2010 when Nick Saban led his defending National Champions to a 10 - 3 record against 6 BYE teams, the ONLY YEAR since 2009 that Bama was not in the BCS or CFP discussion.

Concerning the BYE week situation sure would like to hear Finebaum discuss this travesty and give it the national attention it deserves. Vegas makes a killing off of knowing these little details don't you think? At the very least perhaps one of our ELITE Dawgnation reporters of Adams, Griffin, Riley or Sentell will one day do a thorough piece on how the BYE process in the SEC works and how the SEC can justify some teams only facing one SEC BYE team (UF and AU) while other teams get FIVE (UGa)...the Coashes won't talk about it for fear of being fined by Stankey and company. May be a good reporter can get the SEC to talk about it eh???

At the very least McGarity, do the right thing and file the written protest just like the Alabama AD did back in 2010 and fire the person on your staff for allowing this scheduling snafu! Ok I'm done, someone else play my drum for a bit, I'm tired of banging...

It sounds to me like Odum and Bryant are not on the same page concerning Bryant's health.
