Commits: Sam is the Head Coach at Arkansas and will hire an O-Line coach ASAP. You have the option of playing for an as yet unknown O-Line coach for a program that will get trounced over the next 3-4 years (your eligibility timeline). Or you could go play and develop under Matt Luke at UGA and compete for SEC East & SEC Conference titles, as well as a Natty or two (hopefully). To me, this is a no-brainer.

Let's just hope Matt can teach the O-line how to run-block. Sam = Great recruiter/saleman, but coaching?? Not sold.
OR, the O-line is actually TOO BIG to get off the ball in time to dictate where the play is supposed to go??

Matt Luke, welcome! I honestly have always admired Matt Luke for his love of his Alma Mater and passion for the game. He is a great fit and very personable coach to replace the great Pittman. Well done Kirby.
Just about as good a hire as any coach that was available. No longer concerned about losing an assistant to a HC job. Good work Dawgs!

To be successful, we really need to get a shrewd OC who knows how to utilize the talent we have and keep the opponent guessing.
Looks like a great hire for the Dawgs. If we can get a good 2-3 years from Luke before he gets hired away for another HC job, it will be a win. In Kirby we Trust. Go Dawgs, Beat Baylor!
