Fromm haters are armchair qb's??....then you proceed to be one yourself. Can't make this stuff up.
Or they could just ask UGA fans. Duh.
Jake provided Dawg fans with three great seasons and some wonderful memories. Unlike most of the cyber world taking shots at him, Jake is a class act and a true leader. Best wishes as he prepares for the NFL draft and beyond. I think it's also worth mentioning that Holly Rowe is a fine person, reporter and a credit to her craft. Go Dawgs!
This is a misleading headline. there is no explanation of how Justin Fields' success affected Jack. Holly indicated that had it had affected him, but there is no confirmation or elaboration of that.
The implication by some is that Jake got his feelings hurt and sulked away and quit the team in order to get back at the nay sayers. Doesn't sound like the Jake Fromm I have seen, heard and read about. If it's true, then he wasn't the young man he presented himself to be(team first) and if it isn't rue, then some of you owe him an apology.
I expect that we, as a group, will definitely be proud of Fromm and hope he succeeds in the NFL... but at the same time just a bit of hurt like you might feel on a tough breakup. Will he succeed in the NFL? I'm not sure. He's a great guy and a great rep of Georgia Football, so I'd hope we will all wish him luck.
Anyway, it's time for a change, so lets see what these new guys can bring to our offense.
Look, I love Fromm, but don't forget that had Fromm not existed on our team, we would've had a temp QB for the few games when Eason got hurt and then Eason would've come back and played for us for a couple of years who is impressive talent. Who knows whether Fields would've left as well.
I'm not blaming Fromm, but I'm saying that luck has nothing to do with anything. That's recruiting and is a credit to Smart and the other coaches. They've pretty much grabbed whatever players they wanted. I mean, heck, we were expected to have a real shot at getting Lawrence as well.
