I sincerely hope not, but I wonder if this in any way is an indication that Mathis won't be playing? Again, I hope not, but it was just last week I read on another site that the Muschamp kid got a scholarship to Colorado State. I found it just a tiny bit odd, but figured if he couldn't ge a scholarship to usc, that Bobo was able to pull some strings for him out there. As others have said, hard to understand why he would want to be a walkon at UGA, which is now loaded with scholarship quarterbacks, and not for his father. Or if not for the Gamecocks, walk on anywhere else that's not an annual rival of your dad's school. I do wish we could have signed Burch, though. All these other last-minute signings, that was one that would have made me excited.
