Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

This could be a made for the movies come back. You got to love the Mathis family and you really have to pull for D’Wan. DGD!
I can't wait to see Mathis playing between the hedges.
Go Dogs!
DGD!
You have to pull for this young man because he doesn't know the word "quit". He has had a life changing event at an early age. Kids tend to think they are immune to having tragic things happen to them. He fought through it and is a better man because of if. I hope he gets a great report on his future. The young man has so much physical talent. He has the ability to play another position if he had too. His catch and run in last year's spring game gave us a glimpse of that. You can tell that he comes from a great family. Parents help their children build their foundation. That foundation is what will help them through the tough moments in life. When all else fails, that foundation will stand strong. Dawgnation is pulling for you D'wan!
I'm pulling for all our Dawgs, but have to admit there is no one I am pulling for more that than D'Wan. I hope this young man finds success on and off the field!
Great story.
Thank you, Kirby and staff...you stuck with this young QB and it will pay off in dividends. He is tall, strong arm and very quick on his feet for a QB...10.8 sec in the 100 meters is very quick for a QB...especially at 6'6" tall. He reminds me of a Trevor Lawrence type, physically. I know he will check out perfectly in May and be more than ready to compete. Newman better meet the hype, cause D'Wan is on a mission. Good student as well. I see a promising future for D'Wan.
One day, D'Wan will be D'Man! Get healthy, and stay positive young man!
GO DAWGS!
Courageous young man, highest standards coaching staff. I didn't think I could get any prouder to be Dawg fan but the pride just increased.
