That article title is misleading, Alabama has five players that are counted twice because they are in the top 25 AND those same players are listed in the "Top 5" in each category. There are only nine (9) unique players.

This is not a bash Bama thread, there are very talented, nor is it intended for Mike or anyone at Dawgnation. I am referring to the original article. I just hate misleading information.

Yeah all that makes no sense. Whoever wrote the original article evidently couldn't count. The only bashing thing that I would say is this, because alabama has produced so many draft picks, it's easier for "experts" to pick so many players from bama, Clemson, Ohio state, and so forth and so on. Because these teams have won championships much more recently. If Georgia hadn't won the SEC and came super close to winning the national championship ship in 2017, they probably wouldn't have those players on this list or even have the same amount of picks they've had since. It all falls in the same category as voting for heisman. If your team loses, even with phenomenal stats out of this world, you don't even register with heisman voters. It's all about piggybacking the big time teams. UGA wins a couple more SEC championships and maybe a natty or 2, then draft picks will skyrocket.

We Gotta coach em up! Not a single D-lineman drafted from UGA this year!! Bama and Clemson turn out 1st rounders every year or close to it. We can't get one drafted. There is a little hyperbole in this, but not much.

This is the year of the DAWG!!!! Cut the Bama hype, Mike, using Kiper. Stats don't always produce efficacious results. They are indicators but subject to change. Talent is about to come to fruition, Kiper and Mike. UGA produces results. You will see.

    GO DAWGS!!!

That will change after September 19th (assuming the game is played), or it won't. UGA has to beat Alabama on the field, not in the headlines or the pundit world. Play the game. The NFL has scouts who are generally decent evaluators of talent. They most likely do not read Mel's Big Board for their draft decisions. Let's go play these guys (and Clemson, to bring up another current topic being fanned on line) and beat them. Talk is just that, same as opinions.
