This will be a crazy season. I would stack the competition as ....Bama, Gators, Auburn, VA., then anybody's guess. Tenn.? UGA should win the SEC East crown again. And, if they beat Bama earlier...UGA will likely take the SEC overall.
We shouldn’t take the Kentucky game for granted either. It is a game we definitely should win but Kentucky has a good o-line and we didn’t exactly blow them away in the rain at Sanford Stadium last year. I think it’s a toss-up between them and Tenn for the third best team in the East.
It really is beginning to look like there will be no football season to begin with. Covid on the increase, schools reporting multitudes of players with the Covid, no vaccines yet, it's all a crap shoot.
Good article Bill and I agree with your predictions. It could certainly be a strange season, especially if we play in empty stadiums. That would benefit UT and Auburn to not play in a hostile Sanford Stadium. I guess it would also benefit us to not play before crazy crowds in Tuscaloosa, Columbia, etc. It will be interesting to see how this season pans-out. Also, I think our toughest game will be our 3rd match-up with Bama (ie. Tuscaloosa, SEC CG and National CG). How’s that for optimism? Go Dawgs!!!
