I was under the impression from multiple media reports, that Florida's two next cross divisional opponents, were to be Texas A&M, and Alabama. Now their schedule includes Arkansas instead of Alabama... What is is the rationale for that change. . How did these two teams avoid that meeting? The two teams added to Georgia's schedule were already on the rotation. Why the change? Who influenced the change and why? I have a suspicion, but no evidence.
Also, Florida has 5 home games, 1 neutral (kinda sorta) and 4 away games. UGa has 4 home games, 1 neutral and 5 away. We are the only team to have 4 home games and the Gators are the only team with 4 away games. Bummer. Go Dawgs!!!
NOTE: The good news is Florida will likely have to play Bama in 2021 and LSU.....and they will have more away games than home games. So we need to take care of business this year and let the lizards 🦎 cry foul next season. Go Dawgs!!!
I suspect Saban used his influence to not get Florida on his schedule. And it didn't hurt that Mullen was probably crying the whole time.
You have to play the cards that the dealer gives you. In this case the dealer is the SEC.
