    Ladies and gentlemen men,

lets follow the money. These conferences all must cancel now. Because if they all cancel then they can turn to congress for a bailout. If some cancel and some don’t there will be no bailout. So..... once again..... the players lose ( for some who would argue that it’s about safety please read the words of the players themselves about safety at home)....fans lose..... and tax payers lose.

This is like a 40 year curse for UGA. Probably the best team we’ve had since 80 and it’s going to get taken out by a virus. Let the players sign liability waivers and play. Don’t penalize them if they choose to opt out. Seems easy enough, the country and players need football.

No way the PAC12 plays football in 2020. And the BIG Ten looks to side with those on the left coast. Hears hoping that we can have some leadership and a different direction from the SEC, ACC, and Big 12.

I think it would be cool for those 3 conferences to play their league only schedules and then give as a top 4 playoff with league champ + 1.

Think recruits in the future would want to go to the PAC 12 or BIG Ten if things played out this way?

I'm siding with the players to play. If they can follow some simple rules for a few months, maybe the threat can be minimized and open up opportunities for some guys to play that may have otherwise seen little playing time. There are medications, minerals, and vitamins out there that can help speed up the healing process even if COVID positive.

Can't help but think we are seeing the end of college football. I thought it would happen when a NFL development league gets formed. Instead it is a virus combined with players demanding a revenue sharing agreement.

Maybe it is time for minor league football and these 18-22 year olds get to make a choice. Either play minor league football or play college football. Perhaps the XFL becomes then NFL minor league and plays in the Spring. The median income in this country is $50k a year. The average yearly cost for instate college is between $25-35k depending on public or private. The magical $15 per hour minimum wage will gross $31.2k per year. Most 18-22 year olds don't make close to $31.2k or $50k per year. So, let's set the salary cap in the minor league at $50k. The $50k is taxed, the scholarship is not. Players in the minor league can unionize, protest, go on strike, and market themselves. In minor league football you can be fired if you get injured or don't perform. With a scholarship you get a medical redshirt if injured and your college is paid for.

Sure the best players might opt for the minor league. But there will still be plenty of players in the country to fill the college rosters and players going to the minor league will impact all college programs; leveling the competition.

Here's a NOVEL idea. SEC, ACC & the Big-12 tell the Big-10 & PAC-12 to take a flying leap, renegotiate a one season contract for this year with ESPN, pay the players for one year for their trouble & commitment, and play the CFP between the three conferences with a wild card team.

Other sports around the world are playing (including here) without issues. There is no place safer for most of these guys than the controlled environment of a college campus & football program.

By making a decision not to play, these conference commissioners, AD's and presidents are not only ignoring the facts & science, they are sticking their heads in the sand in an attempt to cover their rear ends.

Bottom line is this country needs some hope and some sense of normalcy. These guys want to play. We should let them and reward them for what they do.

    LET THEM PLAY!!

This season is pointless from a competitive basis. Even leaving out the fact that a national championship is empty if many of the major contenders decide not to play, what is the point of playing if 20 players or 30 of your team is sitting because of Covid. It makes the game's outcome a joke. Yeah, we beat Alabama but half their offensive line was sick that day? Pointless.
