WATCH: Highlights from Brock Vandagriff-Gunner Stockton 5-star quarterback duel
Two of the best high school quarterbacks in the country met on Friday night. And the 5-star battle between Brock Vandagriff and Gunner Stockton did not disappoint. The two combined for 8 touchdowns in a nationally televised contest. Stockton ran for 173 yards while throwing for 173 yards and had five touchdowns.

Stockton looked amazingly good. That dude can flat out haul the mail. I was BV had a good second half. He doesn’t have a huge amount of talent around him. But he held his own for sure.
Brock has the height advantage and a laser arm. Stockton is clearly the better option runner. SC got an exceptional pick with Stockton. UGA got a very good pick with Vandagriff. The height advantage will serve Brock better in college ranks. Stockton's shifty running impressed me...but can lead to more injury. Pretty evenly matched...each has his own strengths. Vandagriff needs to be more mobile to fit the Monken style...at least from the clips. He threw three interceptions as well because he is mostly a passer and was pressed...his receivers may have had something to do with that. Prince Ave. receivers performed pretty well but Stockton's were superior. I do keep in mind this is high school. College is a whole nother world...and the SEC the best of this world...and UGA the best of the SEC!
Vandagriff also adds his recruiting ability....a solid plus for UGA.
I am very impress with Gunner Stockton!!
Has anyone else seen the story on Youtube about the University of South Carolina Football Players: 13 Gamecock players named in Lynching Allegations, If true this is bad for South Carolina.
Keep in mind that Rabun County is in Class AA of the GHSA, while Prince Ave is a Christian school in Class A.
