ATHENS — Georgia coach Kirby Smart admits he didn’t see much of a silver lining in Saturday’s game at Missouri being canceled, as his focus was on getting his players back on the field to improve. Just wondering, what kind of concussion does Tommy Bush have? He's missed the entire season. Was it something more than a concussion?

The injuries are just beyond insanity...18 guys.... most programs would be losing games left and right... I only pray we can win out and be 8 and 2 and play in a meaningless bowl game with Fresh, Soph and some juniors as I would anticipate a lot of guys who think their ready for big time will opt out of the bowl game as this has become the norm as sad as it is!!! This year has been just one big Cluster Freak!

I still have a hard time on occasions trying to figure out what Kirby means. He wants to play this weekend to give younger guys a “chance to grow” yet we have TWO quarterbacks who have struggled woefully and no other qb has been given a “chance to grow.” Sometimes Kirby, you seem to me to be a walking contradiction. Go Dawgs!

Hope things work out where we can see Arian Smith. I know Kirby and staff were really happy when they signed this guy. I’m anxious to see what he can do. Glad to see Kenny Mac will be back I just hope he’s as close to 100% as possible. He’s such an explosive player and like James Cook so fun to watch when he gets some green in front of him. We need him with Kendall being out. I wish Kendall, Richard and All our injured Dawgs a full & speedy recovery !!

You could field a pretty good team with that list of injuries.

what is it with the Tommy Bush concussion. Same old line gets repeated every week. Is he out for the season?

Seven of the 18 are "probable." Some of the "questionables" will likely start. Miss State's aerial. DBs will have to be healthy. K.J. Costello threw for an SEC record of 623 yds against LSU on Sept 26. They could be trouble for UGA. It seems to be a weakness with UGA vs Bama and FL. Some of you will say, LSU has no defense..true...but over 600 yds passing should be of concern to Kirby! Again, contain Costello, who has since fallen in ranking, has about 7 interceptions and far fewer yds passing since LSU. UGA healthy defense should shut them down. Then....UGA needs to put points on the board!! Miss State will be stuffing the middle....anticipating Kirby's announced running game! This game I picked as a potential upset earlier. Hopefully we will field a competent QB that can throw accurately into a pass defense and lead UGA to victory.
