It was a very good weekend for Georgia for a number of different reasons. The Bulldogs put forth perhaps their most impressive win of the season beating Missouri 49-14. Then Georgia's archrival, Florida, lost as a three-touchdown favorite against LSU. The results from the weekend were taken into account in the latest

while I would have preferred to be ahead of Florida since they just lost, I understand. We lost head to head to them.
Texas A&M dumps Tennessee and plays UGA.
These rankings never make much sense. Sometimes it's "the eye test". Sometimes it's head to head. Other times it's who's the best team today.
It doesn't really matter or really change anything, but with most of the injured starters back on defense. A very capable QB and a couple of starting receivers back, all of who didn't play in the Georgia-Florida game, I think most reasonable people would conclude Georgia would likely beat Florida if they played today.
Not all that critical, but concerning UF, let's see how much they fall after Saturday
Florida at 7-Ridiculous, Ohio State making the playoffs having only played five games to this point-Ridiculous, 2020-Ridiculous
Dawgs will easily jump over FL in the final pole once the Gaturds get their a$$es handed to them by the Tide. Unfortunately, due to covid, it probably won't make much of a difference where teams are assigned to bowl games. It looks like the committee is more concerned about regional travel issues than creating the best matchups. That's why TxAM will play in Dallas, GA will play in Atlanta and FL and UM will play in Miami. Sucks I know. Everything about this year has been turned on its head but the future looks very bright for the Bulldogs indeed!
And we thought the BCS was a bad system. Iowa State? Ohio State? Florida still ahead of Georgia only because of a bad coaching decision and despite power rankings showing the Dawgs as a top 4 team??
How long will it take before conferences being left out of the playoff picture tire of being shunned & bolt? How long will deserving teams stand for their conferences playing favorites while bending rules or changing alignment to benefit specific teams a la the Big 10, ACC & PAC-12 this year? We can say conferences need to get stronger, breaks better but the bottom line is that championships should be determined on the field not in a hotel conference rooms. It's time for a typical bracketed playoff process for college football. Teams like Cincinnati, BYU, & even Coastal Carolina are more deserving of a shot at the playoffs than OSU and ISU
Is there a bowl scenario where the two teams could have a rematch? That could be pretty entertaining.
Let's all try to find the extent of the censoring and see how **** it really is.
not smart = D--b (dumb) = S----d (****) = I-----e imbecile,

Perhaps Dawgnation can also start fact checking everyone and deleting posts it deems to be marginal information.
