National Signing Day has come and gone and most of the 2021 recruits have officially signed with their programs. With the class mostly put to bed, many national media sites are looking back on the class and looking at who came away with successful hauls. The Bulldogs checked that box for multiple positions. UGA signed 8 of the top 100 247 Sports players in 2021, Bama literally signed twice as many-16

    This may be our best shot at a NATTY this year before that BAMA haul hits the field in 2022 and they eventually become 1st round daft picks.

    Last I heard, since the final signing day, our class was #3. What changed?

    I thought we were third. What turned us into fourth behind Alabama and Ohio State? Did anyone sneak in there?

    Regardless, the coaches have done a great job with the offensive line, line backers and defensive backs, not to mention quarterback.

    Big question is were we third or fourth?

    Saban recruited this past cycle as though he's still miffed Georgia dared to sign that epic 2018 No. 1 haul. His latest class tops that one, *and* they'll probably end up winning at least one natty with theirs.

    @WCH and ERoc,

    You are correct that we were #3 on the “247 Composite” rankings until several days ago. LSU just signed their 23rd player and jumped slightly ahead of us. It should be noted that we only signed 20 so our recruits are higher rated. If we pick up a 2-star at the last minute we will then jump back into 3rd place. BTW, we are still #3 on the “247” ranking, just not on the “247 Composite” which averages several ranking systems. Go Dawgs!!!

    LSU jumped the Dawgs to third by adding a four star after NSD. They have three more signees than UGA but the Dawgs have a higher average rating. Clemson finished fifth with a higher rating than the Dawgs but a lower ranking. There’s little difference between three, four. and five.

    I am still dumbfounded that Gator Nation is still drinking the Mullet Kool-aid after the Gators finished thirteenth, nine spots behind the Dawgs with UF being the flagship institution in the top recruiting state in the country. That is downright unimaginable!
