Hope we have access to the best shoulder specialists. Go Dawgs!
So Ben Cleveland runs a 4.85 40 yard dash and Richard LeCounte runs a 4.80? That can't be right.
khummel, I had the same thought. Wonder what's up with that.
Richard LeCounte running a 4.80 40 shows he is still not over his accident. Good luck to him, he will always be a DGD.
I love this play by play posting, but it might be helpful to post the dates along with the times. I got confused when trying to figure out what happened on what day.
Thanks!
Praying Davis stays healthy this entire season!!!!!
Kirby Smart obviously knows more about coaching football than I ever will so I trust him. But am I the only person who is just mildly anxious about Lovasea Carroll doing this experiment at DB. Maybe they're trying to teach him how to tackle since he'll likely be on special teams. I'm good with that. But we keep talking about our depth at RB but not even a week into Spring practice and we're already a man down. I say put Carroll back there and let him get used to playing the position that he's almost certainly going to play at UGA. There's an outside chance he might get some carries as a freshman, but I see little to no chance of him seeing the field as a cornerback. Maybe I'm just being a worry wart and I figure he'll definitely be back at RB for fall camp. But I don't know, if we really have to rely on him for depth at DB, we won't go as far as I had hoped we would. I hope this "experiment" is short-lived. Go Dawgs!
I feel for Rochester. Dude has had a dozen injuries during his five years at Georgia.
Good to take the ‘Jermaine Burton will have to step up’ down for at least Spring
"This feels like a move you would make in order to beef up your resume as possible College Football Playoff expansion looms."
This logic seems backwards. The more inclusive the club, the lower the bar for entry.
I feel ya man, but I believe Kirby has done this a few times in his career at UGA and gotten meaningful reps outta the kids. I doubt he’ll start; but he’s probably for “emergency depth”. Like the guy who plays QB when all the other go down kinda deal. You never know though, elite athletes find a way to succeed wherever they have the opportunity. I think it’s gonna be fun to watch.
