This so called law will have no impact what so ever in bringing any Championships to UGA, or any other school. So don't start believing if we were paying for compensation that UGA would have more than two consensus National Titles, and now with this latest tool we will win title after title.
The article mentions that the NCAA remains "clouded" on the NIL issue. But this is just one more area where they are making themselves increasing irrelevant by refusing to adapt to changing times. To illustrate: When EA Sports announced that they were bringing back their college football game, they dropped "NCAA" from the title. They are working with Collegiate Licensing Company to negotiate directly with over 100 schools, bypassing the NCAA entirely. Just like the college football playoffs is a contract between conferences, bowls, and ESPN, with the NCAA completely out of the picture.
Really ? I didn't see where anyone was claiming this is the road to the Natty per se . However as to the impact it will have , just watch how fast every other P5 school tries to get a similar bill on the books.
Several other states already similar laws and several others are in the process.
