So do we expect him to be eligible, or will the SEC enforce the intraconference transfer rule?

Definitely expect the rule to be excused for this season. Although, I'm not sure about any seasons after this one, but it will for sure be removed this year..

This is a great pickup for Smart, Lanning, and Addae, but it still doesn't really solve their lack of in-game xperience, as Turnage has only appeared in 3 games over his career at Bama..

I'm tired of the whining about Georgia's need for more DBs, even now. We already had a half-dozen 4-star studs with immense potential who need a chance to showcase it. With the portal additions of Smith and Turnage, it's about time we embrace this DB group, develop these kids, believe in them, and get them on the field. Go Dawgs!

Kelee Ringo had better get on the ball and be starting for this defense against Clemson in game number 1.

Barring an injury that is announced about him, anything less will be nothing but extremely disappointing for me and the fanbase. And those that are not willing to admit that are just in simple denial.

We have been hearing about this 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ kid for 2 full years now, West coast boy who was rated as the number 1 OVERALL player from the state of Arizona, Number 2 overall defensive back in the ENTIRE COUNTRY, given a 6.1 rating by 247 sports at the END of his high school career, and ranked as the number 7 OVERALL player in the entire nation by 247 sports taking into account the three largest companies that rank high school recruits, and listening to Dan Lanning and Kirby Smart talk about how he knows the playbook now and has learned the defense during his freshman season.

So last season was understood, he had a major injury and surgery, that’s fine, given a pass and I didn’t say or post a word at all during preseason or regular season 2020.

Well, it’s 2021. All of the print and articles and statements and publicity and HYPE and off-the-charts scores: Time to see it on the field in uniform during the season.

Otherwise, just wasting everyones time and putting it in the same category of people that say every offseason that “This will finally be the year we win the Natty”, because all it will be is words and smoke.

What are the odds that Turnage is a starter by game #3

With new transfer rule, it's only a matter of time before we start having free agents in college football. Easy to do. Leave the team and the school and give up your scholarship. Then start school at the new university. Forget the transfer portal. If not happy, do it again. You're not transferring. You're leaving a program. Then, later signing on with another. Be prepared for "one and done" in college football.
