ATHENS — Sydney Chambley hit a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning to give Georgia softball an 11-3 victory over Western Kentucky in walk-off, run-rule fashion on Friday afternoon.

    Celebrating the SBDawgs victory, but there is something very telling in this quote from Sydney. Translating...... "FUNDAMENTALS!" The little things always pay off. Make contact, protect the strike zone, attack the ball, hit the cut-off, that's BALL'in!

    She is so spot on, whether or not that was the way she was thinking about it. Nailed it!

    The "little things" aren't little at all. They are the spine of the game.
