I hope they move the Barn and the Gumps to the East.
Not sure if this is out there and I just missed it - has anyone heard how the conference champion will be decided if the divisions are eliminated?
I don’t understand how you can come up with two teams to play for the SEC championship if there are four pods without adding an SEC semifinal game. 12 game regular season with most likely 9 conference games, 2 games to determine an SEC champ, and up to 4 games to become national champs in expanded playoffs where there is a big probability of SEC teams facing other SEC teams. That’s a lot of SEC teams beating up on one another depleting team depth which would seem to throw the door wide open for the weaker conferences to waltz to the natty without having to deplete their rosters without the rigors of facing elite competition for what could be 18 weeks for SEC teams. Clemson has benefited tremendously from being able to rest their starters for what amounts to a quarter of the season in the All Cupcake Conference.
Two best records, plus tiebreakers (head to head, rankings, etc).
